  Honda Motorcycles

Honda was known as an automobile company mostly until about 1946 when the company began building a line of scooters and motorcycles. The Soichiro division of Honda had some losses due to the Second World War but Honda was persistent and in 1947 they put out the first motorcycle called the 1947 A-Type, this was because the company wasn’t officially called Honda until a year later. The A Type cycle was the first of many to come along, but it wasn’t until a few years later when the company now called Honda releases the Honda Dream D Type motorcycle. It has a 98cc engine and could power up to 3 horse power.

Honda makes a great brand of scooters. They have the Elite Scooter that has 80cc engine, the Ruckus Scooter has 49 cc engines, the Helix Scooter has 244cc engine, Silver Wing has a 582cc engine, the Metropolitan Scooter has a 49cc engine and the Reflex Scooter has 249 cc engines. These scooters are all street legal and just like motorcycles they must be registered to be driven.

The Motorcycles are widely known, the better known models are the Nighthawk has a 234cc engine, Shadow Spirit 745cc engine, VTX1300c has a 1312cc engine and the Shadow Sabre 1099 cc. There are over 100 models to choose from. Honda stands behind every scooter, every car and every cycle they make. If you are looking for a great motorcycle at a great price try Honda.
