  Von Dutch Motorcyles

Kenneth Howard or more commonly known as Dutch and Von Dutch was a jack of all trades; he was a motorcycle mechanic, eccentric, artist, pinstripe, metal fabricator, knife maker and gunsmith. During the 50’s Kenny worked as a car mechanic eventually repairing motorcycles. Pretty soon Von Dutch was making a name from themselves in the custom car world. They began detailing and customizing their own brand of motorcycles.

Soon Von Dutch was a force to be reckoned with and they soon had what they called the vital mark of authenticity which became the company trade mark. This mark is very recognizable by officials and laymen as genuine, it is almost impossible to duplicate, and you can’t really alter the design in anyway. Some of the Von Dutch custom bikes belong to such celebrities as Bill Gibbons from ZZ Top, Drew Bledsoe, Scott Weiland, Sean McNab, Eric Tibbits, Dee Snyder, Whitney Houston, Busta Rhymes and Peter North.

Von Dutch is produced one of kind bikes, they do have some stock bikes but mostly they do custom jobs. Custom jobs have been said to release your creativity and pose more of a challenge than putting together a stock bike. You have to take your customers design wishes and apply them with regular bike parts. You have to bring someone else’s dream come true.
