Suzuki Corporation is a Japanese multinational corporation; they manufacture cars as well as motorcycles and outboard motors. They have 15 automotive plants in 14 countries and 133 distribution centers in 119 countries. They are a huge conglomerate.
In 1909, Michio Suzuki opened up the Suzuki Look Company in Japan; the business basically was to build weaving looms for Japan’s biggest silk factory. In 1929, Michio created a new type of weaving machine which they promptly began to ship overseas. He has over 120 patents and utility model rights over his life time.
Based on a high customer demand for cars and motorized transportation, Suzuki got into the automotive game. In 1937, the produced their first prototype of cars and after the Second World War, they produced a full line of motorcycles, estimated to be about 6000 per month. They found their niche. Suzuki bikes were staring to sell in Japan and soon the expanded into exporting cars and motor cycles all over the world.
Some of Suzuki’s best selling bikes are FXR150 it has a 4 stroke, 147cc engine, the Boulevard Series Model S40 it has a 650cc engine, the RGV250 has a 250cc engine and the Tl100r Series it has a 996 cc engine. These bikes have a lot of power and can be dangerous if you have never ridden a bike before. Make sure you have a motorcycle license before driving one of these bikes, they are a lot of machine fro someone with very little experience.
