The Yamaha Corporation was first a piano manufacturer but by July of 1955 they were a expanding into the Yamaha Motor Company. They had some background in making light weight but durable metal constructions from making the pianos. They used that knowledge to create the metal frames and fro motor parts. Today, Yamaha is the world’s second largest motorcycle company in the world. They have a full line of motorcycles, all terrain vehicles, boats, snowmobiles, Pillows, outboard motors and personal watercrafts.
Yamaha Motor Company is a separate company from the Yamaha Corporation. They do however, share their name with the tuning fork logo but the logo name is slightly different. The Super Sport models are their popular cycles. The YZF-R1 has 998cc engines, the FZ1 model has a 998cc engine, YZF-R6 has a 599cc’s, the YZR-R6S has a 600cc engine, the YZF-600R has a 599cc engine and the model FZZ6 has a 600 cc engine.
Yamaha is a name that you can trust; they are the number 2 manufacturer of motorcycles in the world. Yamaha also makes snow blowers, racing kart engines, off road bikes and scooters. Yamaha bikes can cost anywhere from $ 2,000 fro the scooters to $ 15,000 for an actual bike. They are safe bikes and if you take the proper safety measure then you will have a fun and a safe ride.
